after trying chrome, edge, explorer, and firefox, it turns out the old app works best in the opera browser. ive used it for the last 5 sketches w/ no issues. opera appears to be the only browser left that still allows flash data to be stored locally so sketches and palettes can be recovered in the event of a crash or saved if one chooses to log off
just puttin that out there....
